De Twilightsterren vallen in de prijzen
Bij de Kid's Choice Awards van Nickelodeon zijn de Twilightsterren in de prijzen gevallen :
Beste koppel : Jacob&Bella
Beste filmacteur : Taylor Lautner
Twilight moest wel zijn prijs voor Beste Boek afstaan aan 'Diary of a Wimpy Kid'.
Ook heeft Alvin & the Chipmunks de plaats van Beste Film voor New Moon afgenomen.
Beste koppel : Jacob&Bella

The short Second Life of Bree Tanner
Dit is dus het nieuwe boek van Stephenie Meyer ! Het gaat over Bree (ken je haar nog van Eclipse ?!) en hoe zij en de andere Newborns zich voorbereiden op het gevecht met de Cullens. Carlisle wou haar sparen, maar uiteindelijk heeft Victoria haar toch gedood. Het is uiteraard geschreven uit haar perspectief, en is zéker en vast een aanrader omdat het eigenlijk toch veel te maken heeft met Twilight (het is een aanvulling op Eclipse !).
Het boek wordt gereleased om 12.01 's nachts zaterdag 5 juni in hardcover voor $13.99 = €10.41. En het start met een printing van 1.5 miljoen exemplaren. Per boek gaat er 1 dollar naar een goed doel.
Stephenie Meyer : “I’m as surprised as anyone about this novella,” said Stephenie Meyer. “When I began working
on it in 2005, it was simply an exercise to help me examine the other side of Eclipse, which I
was editing at the time. I thought it might end up as a short story that I could include on my
website. Then, when work started on The Twilight Saga: The Official Guide, I thought the Guide
would be a good fit for my Bree story. However, the story grew longer than I anticipated, until it
was too long to fit into the Guide.”
As a special thank you to fans, Meyer is giving them exclusive access to the novel on a
dedicated website, www.breetanner.com, from June 7 to July 5, 2010 where fans from around
the world will be able to read the book online in English. “I’d always considered The Short
Second Life of Bree Tanner as something for the fans,” said Meyer. “They have been so
supportive of all things Twilight.”
Korte vertaling : Ze is ook verast over het boek. Het begon eigenlijk met een hulpmiddel om zich in te leven in de Newborn vampier Bree, bij het schrijven van Eclipse in 2005.

De directors van Breaking Dawn
A new name entered the potential directors pool for "Breaking Dawn" yesterday: Stephen Daldry. He previously directed only three films -- "The Reader," "The Hours" and "Billy Elliott" -- but he received Academy Award nominations for all three of them. Daldry joins a group of three previously named talents who Summit is considering to helm the final installment in the "Twilight" series.
Last week, the news emerged that the studio had Gus Van Sant, Sofia Coppola and Bill Condon on their short list of potential helmers. These are four serious names; Summit clearly wants to bring out the biggest guns they can in capping off the high school romance-meets-vampires saga. They also want to serve the fans, since you're the ones who made this series such a big deal. And we're here to help. Tell us which of the four directors we know to be in the running you'd most like to see get the gig. I can't promise you that Summit will listen, but I can't promise they won't either. Let's just quickly recap the potential directors one more time before we get to the poll.

Bella's verlovingsring
Zou Bella hier al verloofd zijn ? Want ze draagt een ring die ze anders niet krijgt + we zagen al op een eerdere foto dat ze een klein, zwart doosje vasthield ....
Maar ze komt wel niet echt overeen met de Bella Cullen Crest ring ... ?!

Dit is dus de officiële Eclipse poster.
Mijn mening ? Ik vind die van Twilight en New Moon véél mooier. Maar ja, we wisten al dat Eclipse donkerder ging worden...

Eclipse website
Eindelijk is de Eclipse website beschikbaar ! We hadden het adres al : van op de Eclipse poster. Maar we kwamen altijd op de New Moon website uit. Nu komen we eindelijk op die van Eclipse uit. Veel staat er nog niet op : de trailer, de link om naar de World of Twilight te gaan, een link voor nr New Moon te gaan en dat is het zowat.

De Eclipse trailer !
Eerst en vooral : het is enerzijds heel leuk, anderzijds een teleurstelling : wat wij hoopten dat een 'TRAILER' ging worden, werd een '10seconden durende SNEAKPEAK'. Je kan hem bekijken op Twilightguide.com . Hij is uiteraard wel leuk : een stukje Edward en Bella en een stukje Bella en Jacob.
